A Taste of Tuesday – The Audition (30 Minutes)

  It’s been a year and I’m returning from maternity leave.  I have an audition coming up this Tuesday. It’s a 30 minute interval ride. Here’s a Taste of Tuesday…

1. “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay / 4:01 – Warm up, rhythmic releases with alternating legs 8 ct.

2. “Meet Me Halfway” by The Black Eyed Peas / 4:44
Verse – Seated Climb – moderate pace
Chorus – Seated Climb – increase resistance slightly then  8 count jumps – 2nd to 1st
Bridge – Seated Flat
Chorus – RWR then 4 count jumps 2nd to 3rd

3. “Take A Picture” by Filter / 6:03
Verse – Seated Flat – moderate RPM
Chorus – Seated Climb – easy/moderate – maintain RPM
Bridge – Standing Flat

4. “How Far We’ve Come” by Matchbox 20 / 3:31
Verse – Seated Flat – fast cadence (85-95 RPM)
Chorus – Seated Flat- increase cadence (95-105)

5. “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley / 2:58
Verse – Seated Flat
Chorus – Increase resistance to Standing Flat

6. “Starlight” by Muse / 4:03
Verse – Seated Climb – easy/moderate
Chorus – RWR
Verse 1 – Seated Climb
Verse 2 – increase resistance

Last Bridge & Chorus – finish with standing climb

Chorus – Seated Flat – increase cadence – (85-100 RPM)
     – when beat comes in – increase resistance – Sand under tires, maintain RPM
2nd Chorus – increase resistance – fast seated climb
Instrumental – decrease resistance to seated flat through sand but increase cadence in 5 RPM intervals
